Calzedonia £22.9m Oxford Circus stock deal

The Verona-based firm, which hired duplication Gisele Bundchen as the visage and body of its summer range, bought Spirella House on the corner of Oxford Street and Regent Street in a mark of aim representing its operations in the capital.

The edifice includes three floors of stock spaciousness and five storeys of offices, and is dwelling-place to single of two Tezenis outlets in London, the other being in the Westfield shopping centre.

Tezenis sells underwear and pyjamas representing men, women and children.

Calzedonia bought the location away Great Capital Partnership, a junction risk between London landlords Great Portland Estates (GPE) and Capital & Counties.

The charge was 12.5% higher than when Spirella House was valued at the end of March following broad refurbishment and the start of a recuperation in the London possessions market.

Robert Noel, possessions chairman of the board at GPE, said: “The selling is in mark with our same disciplined close by of recycling skull from adult assets.”

Spirella House is held on a rental agreement from The Crown Estate representing a more 123 years.
